Hotwire Communications Employees Cycle to Fight in the Dolphins' Cancer Challenge

On Saturday, February 20, twelve Hotwire employees joined the Related Group Cycling Team for this year’s Dolphin's Cancer Challenge (DCC VI) which included a 24 mile ride starting in Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale and ending at The Dolphin’s Sun Life Stadium in Dade County.

Hotwire Communications raised and donated over $25,000. The DCC VI had over 3,400 riders and is on track to raise more than 3.6 Million Dollars for cancer research from this event.

The event ended with a finish-line concert presented by Pepsi featuring Grammy-Award winners Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge to celebrate participants’ hard work and fundraising efforts for cancer research.

This was Hotwire’s second year participating in the event which in just four years has become one of the most high profile fund raising events in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The energy and enthusiasm on the ride was very positive for Hotwire as we have become the most visible Fiber-To-The Home service provider with gigabit Internet speeds available to all our Fision® customers.
